Masher Brothers was founded in 1974, originally starting out as a Joinery workshop in Peckham, with the business growing progressively over the years into the well-established, all encompassing, family-run building and joinery company it is today; developing great working relationships with many Clients and Suppliers.
Masher Brothers is a highly reputable, trusted and experienced building and joinery company. We specialise in carrying out Decent Homes works, Planned Maintenance, Void Property Refurbishments, Bespoke Joinery Manufacture and Installation as well as Whole House Refurbishments. We carry out works using our skilled and experienced directly employed staff covering all trades inclusive of all mechanical, electrical and gas works. We are certified Element BM TRADA Q Mark Fire Door Installers, Maintainers and Fire Stopping Installers as well as BWF Certified Licensed Fire Door Processors allowing us to provide a fully compliant and certified FRA service.

Decent Homes
We work with local authorities and housing associations to undertake refurbishment works to bring their properties up to the Decent Homes Standard. Our services consist of full internal refurbishment works covering the entirety of complete Kitchen and Bathroom replacements including all mechanical, electrical and gas works.
We pride ourselves on carrying out all works with our in-house workforce.
Joinery Production
Masher Brothers originally started out as a Joinery Workshop in 1974 and we have retained this workshop facility to continue to provide in-house Joinery manufacture and installation services. Our team of expert joiners and carpenters provide an all encompassing bespoke joinery service from design through to installation.
Repairs & Maintenance
We currently work with housing associations and local authorities maintaining and repairing residents homes to ensure a good standard within the community. We provide a wide range of planned and cyclical repairs and maintenance services across various locations We pride ourselves on a great response time, right first time and zero defect service.
FRA Remedial Works
We provide a range of compliant FRA/fire safety works services across the London Borough of Lewisham. Masher Brothers are approved Element Q Mark BM Trada Fire Door Installers and Fire Stopping Installers as well as a BWF Licensed Fire Door Processor.
VOID Property Refurbishment
We carry out minor, major and full void refurbishments on a right first time, zero defect basis to ensure that all void works that we undertake are of the highest quality ready for the new incoming tenants. Our highly skilled, knowledgeable and experienced voids teams have successfully carried out void refurbishments to thousands of properties across London, Essex and Kent.
Aids & Adaptations
Masher Brothers carry out a wide range of aids and adaptation works including wet rooms, kitchen adaptations, bathroom adaptations and access ramps to name a few. We are highly experienced carrying out these works where care and attention is paramount. Our RLO team are well versed when engaging and liaising with elderly/vulnerable residents as well as occupational therapists.
